Hey, I'm Daniel Kaczkowski (kaz-COW-ski).
I've been a Visual Effects Artist for over 10 years and am currently a Compositing Supervisor in the film industry.

Throughout my career, I've completed over 2,500 VFX shots on over 150 projects.
Supervising & Leading over 30.
From music videos, short films, documentaries, and commercials, to high-end feature films & TV.
From the biggest names in music to the biggest IMAX blockbusters in theaters.

My goal with this site is to teach you all of the technical and creative aspects of Nuke and Compositing in a rigorous and structured curriculum, designed to challenge but not overwhelm you.
This knowledge is the basis upon which all advanced visual effects shots are built, and it must be deeply understood before moving on to the high-end, complex shots (covered in Advanced sections).

Each course covers the theory, math, and practical applications of the fundamentals.
Ending with a review and assignments for you to practice on your own.
I use Nuke & Houdini throughout the courses, but the knowledge can be applied in any VFX software.
Understanding all of the concepts taught will make you software and tool independent.
